Our unique academic approach aids the child in self-creation, rather than imposing a cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all curriculum. We serve children from the age of 18 months until 9 years through different multi-aged programs:
A Montessori environment of carefully chosen materials appeals the child to work, concentrate, and enjoy. At our Montessori school, your toddler learns from direct interaction, by means of all the senses. Through movement the child literally absorbs what surrounds them. Our lessons are at the very best quality; inviting the child to self-respect, respect and develop an appreciation of beauty.
When children come for Preschool, they don’t enter an ordinary classroom, but rather a Children’s House. Each House features vertical grouping, meaning children, as young as three and as old as six, learn side-by-side. Younger children observe higher lessons and get excited about the next level. Older students self-confidently guide younger peers.
Our Elementary Program is for Lower School for ages 6-9 (Grades 1-3). Students are working toward becoming responsible citizens who have achieved independence, self-direction, academic success, and an awareness of the needs of others. By this age, the focus of a child’s Montessori education takes “help me to help myself” and adds “so I may help others.”
In order to assure the highest level of care is provided for our children, we offer a wide range of after school enrichment programs. We also realize the drain extracurricular activities can have on parents and children. Our aftercare program offers homework time and structured enrichment activities. As always, there will be plenty of outdoor play and a healthy snack.
We are a family-owned and operated program. A highly respected academic institution dedicated to providing school and camp programs since 2005. Our reputation is your assurance that you will feel as though your child is in a home environment while he or she is away from home.
Extracurricular Activities and special performances throughout the year provide our children with the opportunity to develop the abilities of public speaking, to demonstrate special talents, to fulfill themselves outside the academic routine, and to enhance their enjoyment of the school experience. Children find our Montessori School a happy, friendly, and challenging place.
We also offer a broad range of extracurricular activities, plus additional programs and services that are available throughout the school year and the summer.
